Otoe County Visitors Committee Mission

The purpose of the Advisory Committee shall be to advise the Otoe County Board of Commissioners in administering the Otoe County Visitors Promotion Fund, which proceeds shall be used generally to promote, encourage, and attract visitors to come to Otoe County, Nebraska, and use the travel and tourism facilities within Otoe County.

Otoe County Visitors Committee Function

The committee meets once each month at the Otoe County Courthouse. Meetings are open to the public, and all agendas and minutes are posted publicly.

One may apply for marketing funds by submitting an application available for download at this website or by contacting the committee’s administrative assistant at 402-873-6654.

Otoe County Visitor’s Committee (OCVC) is seeking candidates and accepting applications for three positions on the Promotions Advisory Committee.  One position is available to be filled immediately and the two others will begin term January 2011.   Board member terms run from January – December and 4-years terms.  Applications will be accepted through Friday, June 11, 2010.
