AppleJack Festival
The 39th Annual AppleJack Festival 2007 is hosted in Nebraska City, well-known for its apple orchards, it should be no surprise that our historic community celebrates the apple harvest all weekend long.
The CELEBRATION includes:
- All-You-Can-Eat Waffle Feed featuring 9” malted Belgian waffles and delicious toppings.
- “AppleJam Fest” was a great success last year and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for people of all ages again this year. Enjoy Giant Inflatable games, younger children’s games, the Kiddie Train, Face Painting, Live Entertainment and a sidewalk art contest. There will be caramel & candy apples, fresh kettle corn, other great food and fun drinks. This is so big we are extending it to a two day event, Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Our Biggest Parade of the Year. Themed “Harvest the Celebration,” the parade features the annual Marching Band Competition.
- Car enthusiasts will not want to miss the AppleJack Car Show lining Central Avenue on Sunday, September 16. Enjoy Stock and Modified Cars, Trucks, Sports Cars, and Motorcycles.
- Choose to walk or run in the AppleJack Fun Run/Walk sponsored by the Alpha Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Enjoy a 5 Mile Run/Walk and don’t miss the 1 Mile Kid’s Run.
- Show your strengths at the AppleJack Strongman Contest brought to you by the Ambassador Rehab & Wellness Center.
- We are introducing a new function Saturday evening. Stay tuned for the details.
