Event Description:

Wine Under the Pines is the annual celebration of the vineyards, wineries, and breweries of Southeast Nebraska. The wine festival showcases delicious offerings from five area wineries and one brewery, as well as an all-ages grape stomp, live music, themed cooking demonstrations by area chefs, vineyard tours and, new for 2010, the Good Wood Barbecue Challenge. The event is hosted by Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard, Nebraska City, with additional activities at Lied Lodge, Arbor Day Farm, and Downtown Nebraska City, in conjunction with its local Lemon Days celebration. Free trolley service is available noon – 7pm to transport guests to all festival venues. Wine Under the Pines is funded in part by the Otoe County Visitors Committee.
