The Lewis & Clark Center and Mayhew Cabin are co-sponsoring the Nebraska City Civil War Reenactment on Saturday, November 5th. A small camp will be open to the public at 9 a.m. for visitation. Two small battles/skirmishes will take place at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day at the Lewis & Clark Center grounds, which are located at 102 South 67th Road next to the Missouri River Bridge. The reenactment is free to the public but admission fees still apply to the visitors’ center. In addition, the Civil War Veterans Museum (910 1st Corso, Nebraska City, NE 68410) and Mayhew Cabin (2012 4th Corso, Nebraska City) will be open for special hours that day as part of the event.
